Broncochem has been a beloved Cold and Flu Over-the-Counter medicine from Dominican Republic. We were tasked with repositioning and rebranding for product line-up expansion and broader market reach. We drew inspirations from Geigy’s classic mid-century packaging design that is eye-catching and friendly. The bespoke black logo conveys confidence and stability. In contrast, the illustrative and vibrant graphics are an expression of optimism and promises of health.
New Products: Broncochem Kids
For the new line-up for Broncochem kids, we want to chart into a new territory for children medication. We find that most of children’s products have outdated and naive-looking illustration style. With children who are exposed to highly sophisticated Disney-Pixar style illustrations nowadays, we have to come up with something that’s relevant and stylish. In addition, the illustrations need to have the dynamics to animate for the future. We created the “monster” characters from the virus and allergen, with a touch of humor.
Subsequently, the characters allow us to illustrate fun narratives we use to explain the unique potency and safety of the new Broncochem products for kids.
Video Art Direction and Production
During the initial launching of the new brand, we produced a series of informative videos aiming to educate the general public on health topics such as benefits of aloe vera, distinguish cold and allergy, natural remedies, prevent summer cold, etc. The dynamic videos follow the brand guidelines, deliver valuable content to our audience, and generate high levels of engagement on social medias.

Powered by Shopify, we tailored the interface to the need of the Broncochem brand. In addition to offering intuitive online shopping experience, we continue to reinforce the brand ethos to provide useful and scientific information on cold, flu and allergy, to help our customers make the best informed choices and become responsible with self-medication.
